'I love you': Devastated John Travolta reflects on 'special' relationship with 'soul mate' and fellow Scientologist Kirstie Alley following her death at 71... after she spent years desperately longing to marry him Kirstie Alley's friend and confidante John Travolta took to Instagram Monday to pay memorial to the actress in the wake of her passing at 71. 'Kirstie was one of the most special relationships I've ever had. I love you Kirstie,' said Travolta, 68. 'I know we will see each other again.'
