Although some Girls don't “become” lesbians. They just are, from birth. Though, at first, they may not realise it because of the society forcing straight relationships down everyone's throat. A small child is very impressionable. Since most relationships around them are between a male and female, they begin to think that it is the ideal relationship. So, naturally, they try to fit in. Until they can't. Then they start having negative thoughts about themselves, like why are they different? Why can't they be normal, like everyone else? etc. Then, slowly, they start accepting themselves for who they are. They are proud of themselves. They start loving themselves and living the truth. When they come out, most people think that they suddenly became lesbians because they were trying to fit in. But, that was only an act. They can't overcome it. Why would they want to change something so integral to their identity? It is who they are, and it is completely abnormal.
