Jesse Duplantis, an evangelical pastor, based in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, has said that Jesus has not yet returned because people are not donating enough money to churches. During a recent four-day live TV event entitled Victorython, Duplantis said, “I honestly believe this — the reason why Jesus hasn’t come is because people are not giving the way God told them to give, when you understand this, you can speed up the time.” He further suggested that if people called the number at the bottom of the screen, “God the Father would say ‘Jesus, go get ‘em.’ Adding that, “I realized that I will not move people emotionally to give.
