Originally named "Jesus Christ," GG Allin was the son of an abusive religious fanatic who often threatened to kill his family — and even dug "graves" to prove he was serious. While the family eventually escaped, GG never forgot the trauma of his childhood, which he described as being more like a prison sentence than an upbringing ⁠ But shockingly, he claimed that he was actually thankful for it, because it made him a "warrior soul" at an early age.
