New bride, who entered coma after taking birth control pill, dies

A newly wedded bride, who went into coma after a procedure for birth control at Women’s Hospital International and Fertility Clinic Bukoto in Kampala, Uganda, has died. Joan Namutebi died on Thursday night, December 16, Kampala Metropolitan Police and Criminal Investigations Directorate officers confirmed on Friday. Namutebi wedded Mr Derrick Wabwire last Friday, December 10 and went for a birth control procedure on Saturday. A newly wedded bride, who went into coma after a procedure for birth control at Women’s Hospital International and Fertility Clinic Bukoto in Kampala, Uganda, has died.  Joan Namutebi died on Thursday night, December 16, Kampala Metropolitan Police and Criminal Investigations Directorate officers confirmed on Friday.  Namutebi wedded Mr Derrick Wabwire last Friday, December 10 and went for a birth control procedure on Saturday.
