A letter of application for the position of a teacher is a formal later. formal latter is very different from the other two types of later ( informal and semi-formal ). To write a good formal later examine these features.
FEATURES OF FORMAL LETTER
1. Address: Informal letter consist of two address. The writer address and the receiver address. This two address can be written in a full block format or Semi-block format. In a case of applying to be a teacher semi block format is appropriate.
Note: if the school you are applying for is within your locality you shouldn't include your state and your town in your address and if the school is not from your locality then include the name of your town and state in your address.
2.Date: The date is not an address and it should be written separately from your address
3. Salutation: since you are applying for the position of a teacher, you can begin your salutation as " Sir/Ma follow by coma.
4. body: don't make use of abbreviations of words in formal latter. mindful of the words you use. A good application letter should at least have three or more than a three paragraphs. And each of these paragraphs should begins with a topic sentence. As you will see in the example.
5. Complimentary close: Since it is application for teaching, Let it begins with " Yours Faithfully followed by signature and your name. Now considered the following application latter, applying for the position of a teacher.

Before I went for service, I Taught in several school which include; Unity International School, Elshadai Grammar School, and Excellent Vision Academic Through which I gained teaching experience.
