There is this ongoing argument between Christian and other religious of the world.
Christians do believe that Jesus Christ is God but other religious see him as a man. Other religious point to the fact that Christians mistaking Jesus as God was as the result of his miracles sign and wonder he did while he came to earth. According to the holy book of quora, Jesus is a servant of Allah- A man and not God.
Christians regarded Jesus christ as God who came down to die for man. Many claimed made against Jesus Christ that his is not The son of God neither God himself. Below are the things that will make you to agree with me that Jesus is a son of God and God himself.
The holy spirit slept with Mary and she become pregnant. Although the bible didn't speak it plain it only say that" Mary was conceived by the holy spirit. This typically means that, Mary was pregnanted by the holy spirit. The holy spirit was responsible for her pregnancy. The holy spirit is the active force of God. Now, I want you to imagine, Things are made to give birth to their kind- Animal gives birth to their kind, tree and plant germinate their type, humans give bith to human. What do you think of the holy spirit? What will it give birth to?
Have you ever heard of the story of the fallen Angel? fallen angels have intercourse with human women, giving existence to the Biblical giants. To purge the world of these creatures, God sends the Great Deluge and their bodies are destroyed. However, their spiritual parts survive, henceforth roaming the earth as demons. My point is that, if Angel can give birth to giant and other imaginary creatures, what do you expect from the HOLY SPIRIT? It is the holy spirit that slept with Mary and Mary became pregnant and God was given birth to. JESUS CHIST IS GOD.
Jesus like Adam was a human being who's father was God--hence he is the second Adam (Rom. 5, 1Cor. 15).
Unlike Adam, he was with God from eternity, he was God, he is the Word: the Creator. (John 1)
Another way of looking at it is, Jesus has God's DNA, "God is his father", making him equal to God. He was born of Virgin, fully God and fully man.
HERE ARE BIBLICAL FACT THAT JESUS CHRIST IS GOD. (continue scrolling)
Jesus did say he was God, in a way that the Jews would understand and they understood well enough because some of them tried to kill him because he was saying he was God.
In the gospel of John, Jesus says “I AM” several times. The Jews who had studied the Books of Moses knew that this was saying that he is God. In the old testament when God called Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, he told Moses that ‘I AM” was sending him to lead the people.
God had a covenant with Israel. I AM is the designation for God to the nation of Israel so when Jesus said “I AM” he was saying “I AM GOD”.
He also made statements like -
… before Abraham was born, I am.
I and the Father are one.
I am from him who sent me.
The Father is in me, and I in the Father.
In John chapter 17 Jesus looked toward heaven and prayed: 'Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
and My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
Not only did Jesus say that He was God in the flesh, many other key figures in the scriptures also attest to His deity.
(1) God (the Father) calls Jesus (the Son) God in Hebrews 1:8 “But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever…”
(2) The Old Testament Prophet Isaiah spoke of the deity of Jesus in Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God…”
(3) The demons who encountered Him acknowledged His true identity in Mark 1:24 “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”
(4) The angels worship Him as God in the flesh in Hebrews 1:6 “But when (the Father) again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all the angels of God worship Him.”
(5) The apostle Thomas called Him both Lord and God in John 20:28 “And Thomas answered and said to (Jesus), “My Lord and my God!”
There are hundreds of scriptures which speak of the coming of God, the Son, into the world in order to live a perfect life and then to give His life on the cross as the payment for our sins.

The New Testament clearly teaches that Jesus claimed to be God. The Bible also affirms the deity of Christ. This is evident in a variety of ways. First, Jesus claimed to be equal with God. He could forgive sin, something only God could do (Mark 2:5). Jesus claimed power to raise the dead (John 5:25-29). He claimed to be honored as God (John 5:18, 23) as well as to be equal with the Father (John 10:30).
Second, Jesus claimed to be the great "I Am." John 8:58 states, "Jesus said to them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.'" This "I Am" reference is made in connection with Exodus 3:14 where God revealed His name to Moses as "I Am." Jesus' statement, then, is a biblical claim for the deity of Christ.
Third, Jesus claimed to be Yahweh God, the same God of Israel from the Old Testament. This included His claim to have eternal glory with the Father (John 17:5), His claim to be the first and the last (Revelation 1:17), His claim to be judge of all humanity (John 5:27), His claim to be the Good Shepherd (John 10:11), His claim to be the Bridegroom (Matthew 25:1; Isaiah 62:5), and His claim to be the light of the world (John 8:12; Psalm 27:1).
Fourth, Jesus also claimed to be the Messiah God. This is evident in many of the titles attributed to Him in the Old Testament that are referred to in the New Testament. These include reference to Jesus as God (Psalm 45:6 and Hebrews 1:8), Lord (Psalm 110:1 and Matthew 22:43-44), Ancient of Days (Daniel 7:9 and Mark 14:61-64), and as Messiah (John 4:26). These references affirm the biblical deity of Christ.
Fifth, Jesus accepted worship as God. Though the Old Testament commanded not to worship anyone but God alone, Jesus accepted worship on many occasions. Some of these included the healed leper who worshipped Him (Matthew 8:2), the ruler who knelt before Jesus after his son had been healed (Matthew 9:18), the Canaanite woman (Matthew 15:25), the mother of James and John (Matthew 20:20), and a demon-possessed man (Mark 5:6). The disciples even prayed to Jesus (Acts 7:59) and in His name (John 14:6; 15:7).
Sixth, Jesus' followers recognized Jesus as God. They called Him God on multiple occasions (John 20:28; Colossians 2:9), referred to Jesus by other names used only of deity, such as Savior of the world (John 4:42), and prayed to or worshiped Jesus as part of the Godhead (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). John taught He was with God in the beginning as "the word" and that "the word was God" (John 1:1).
While the New Testament never makes the direct statement "Jesus is God," it is clear that He is referred to as deity in a variety of ways. Colossians 2:9 confirms, "For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily." (See also Philippians 2:6). Those who claim Jesus never referred to Himself as God deny many clear statements in Scripture (such as John 14:6). The deity of Jesus is biblical. Jesus is God, the second person of the Triune Godhead, consisting of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
After the incarnation of Jesus Christ, the Apostle John confirmed His deity;
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:1, 14).
Before the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven, the Apostle Thomas acknowledged His deity and joined other disciples to worship Him;
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God. (John 20:28)
And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: (LUKE 24:51-52)
After Christ's ascension, the young man Paul (Saul), who had fought against Christianity, met with the Lord in a vision and was convinced that He is/was God. Here are some of the scriptures the Apostle Paul wrote about the deity of Jesus Christ through the iinspiration of the Holy Spirit:
Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. (Romans 9:5)
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: (Philippians 2:5-7)
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 Timothy 3:16)
God the Father commanded angels to worship His Son, Jesus Christ and even Himself called the Lord Jesus 'God';
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (HEBREWS 1:6, 8, 9)
One of Christ’s names strongly denotes His Deity, “Immanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Mt.1: 23. Takes look at Isaiah 9: 6 and be pleasantly surprised when you read Christ’s various titles. Phil.2: 5, 6, states, “The Holy Bible is replete with passages about Christ’s deity.
Having said that, the modern messes known as “versions”, of the Holy Bible which I affectionately call “per-versions” have removed or revised the ancient passages that speak of Christ’s deity. A careful study of the Holy Bible (KJV or KJVER (Easy Read) will give you plenty of evidence for Christ’s deity.
One more verse that strongly states Christ’s claim to deity is found in Rev. 1: 8, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” It doesn’t get much clearer than that.
Oh, I’m on a roll! Here’s a few more, just from one of the Gospels:
John 5; 17–23; 6; 8: 19–28, 42; 10: 30, 38; 14: 7,10,11
The words Christ speaks here are very direct; there’s no misunderstanding Him, and that’s part of the reason why He was crucified. JESUS IS GOD.
Don't be a doubting Thomas accept the fact that he's God and be save
