The practice of single-sex schooling was common before the 20th century, particularly in secondary and higher education. 2. It doesn’t capture the full picture of the society
Students who attended same sex schools for the majority of their schooling struggle when finally exposed to the society at large. Thus they tend to be reserved and clueless when the opposite sex is within range. They seems lost when the opposite sex behaves in certain ways because most of the females have been taught in same sex schools to avoid contact with males once they are outside the school vicinity, that such things may lead them into unwanted pregnancy hence bringing disgrace to their families.
