Court revealed that Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James (alias Baba Ijesha) allegedly inserted a key into the private part of the minor (name withheld).
A forensic report presented by a witness, Mrs Anike Ajayi-Kayode, on Tuesday to Special Offences Court revealed that Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James (alias Baba Ijesha) allegedly inserted a key into the private part of the minor (name withheld).
Olabisi was called in as a witness by the prosecution team led by the Lagos State Director Of Public Prosecution, Olayinka Adeyemi. The forensic expert stated that the clinical report on the minor showed Baba Ijesha allegedly engaged the child in sexual activity when she was seven years old, on two occasions, and on one occasion inserted his car key into her vagina.
In Olabisi’s words;
“He asked the child if he could remove his p*nis and asked her to sit on his lap.
“He told her not to tell anybody. The perpetrator also inserted his car key into her vagina and asked her not to tell anyone.”
As she disclosed that car key insertion occurred at a park where fruits are sold, Princess became very emotional and walked out of the court crying. She would later come back into the court.
Baba Ijesha was not interrogated by the court because his counsel was absent.
Justice Oluwatoyin adjourned the trial to October 20 and 21 for further hearing. Recall that Baba Ijesha was on June 16 arraigned before a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Yaba, Lagos State for alleged sexual assault and attempted rape of minor.
