A suspected armed robber electrocuted trying to vandalized high tension cables along Old Itu Road (opposite Macaire Resort), Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.

It was gathered that the unidentified man met his waterloo on Tuesday night, August 17, while residents of the community were fast asleep.

A suspected vandal got more than he bargained for after he was electrocuted while allegedly trying to steal armored cable from a transformer along Old Itu Road at Uruk Uso in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom state

It was gathered that the unidentified man met his waterloo on Tuesday night, August 17, while residents of the community were fast asleep.

The residents woke up on Wednesday morning to find the lifeless body of the suspect hanging between wires with blood dripping from his nostrils.
