" Man Sold His House & Rented An Apartment To Pay Son's Ransom To Bandits" -Babajide Narrates

Ace Nigerian Journalist, Babajide Kolade Otitoju, has spoken about the lives destroyed by bandits terrorizing the Northern part of the country. During his interview on TVC News, Babajide narrated the story of a man whose son got abducted from school by bandits.

You may have heard of the series of abductions by bandits on some major highways across the Northern part of the country. The abductions by the terrorist groups have led to the loss of lives and financial hardships for many.

Speaking concerning the kidnappings by bandits, "Babajide said, "My mind often goes out to the students abducted from a Federal College in Kebbi State. The students have been in captivity for five months. Some people do not talk about such things because they feel unconcerned. However, it could be anybody's turn tomorrow."

Narrating further, Babajide said, "The abducted students have parents. Some parents whose children were abducted from Bethel Baptist High School sold their houses to pay ransom to bandits. One of the parents whose child got kidnapped sold his house, and retained a portion of the money, and moved into a rented apartment so that he could afford the ransom for his child's release. He built the house with his lifetime savings, but he sold the house to get his son out of captivity. People are going through a lot in our country, and lives are getting ruined. We should defeat them early. How can the abducted students feel like going back to school."
