The hail broke in through the windows into the car and all she could think of was her daughter.

She covered her daughter on the backseat with her body and received all the hits and pain from the hail.

When she was interviewed, she said (paraphrased) “all I could think of was her and how she was under me. I knew she was crying and screaming loudly but I could not hear her voice. Yes, that was how loud it was. ”
