The Macabre True Story Of Edward Paisnel, The Beast Of Jersey

The Macabre True Story Of Edward Paisnel, The Beast Of Jersey Throughout the 1960s, Edward Paisnel appeared to be a pillar of his small community on the English Channel Island of Jersey. He was a family man who was devoted to his wife Joan and her young children, and he even played Santa Claus at Christmastime for the young foster children at the group home that Joan founded. But when he wasn't spending time with his family or doing good deeds, he was donning this mask and sneaking into his neighbors' homes at night in order to sexually assault women and children. It would take more than a decade for police to finally catch up with the “Beast of Jersey" as they repeatedly focused on other suspects, blind to the fact that a man like Paisnel could commit such crimes. Officers only caught him when he ran a red light one day in 1971 and they happened to see his mask sitting right there in his car. Edward Paisnel committed more than a dozen rapes and assaults in the Channel Is...

Murder Story of Zapyškis Jews at the Zapyškis Jewish Cemetery

Murder Story of Zapyškis Jews at the Zapyškis Jewish Cemetery Einsatzkommando officers executing Jewish farmers in Zapyškis , Lithuania, 1941 In mid-August 1941 Lithuanian policemen took 40 young Jewish men from the Zapyškis ghetto to a location close to the Jewish cemetery, where they were killed and buried in a common grave. 40 Jews arrived at the beis-midrash (house of study and prayer). When they arrived they found well-armed “partisans” [Lithuanian nationalists], who did not allow them to return home. They took all the Jews who had arrived and forced them into the beis-midrash. None of the Jews realized what was happening. They waited impatiently. Some “partisans” entered and ordered them to sing “Communist songs.” The Jews did not sing but were not too worried since the Lithuanian “partisans” they saw before them were people who had been their customers and who had helped them earn a living. The “partisans” then ordered the Jews to pray. The Jews did not obey. The Jews were then ...

History’s Worst Execution Methods: Flaying

History’s Worst Execution Methods: Flaying Flaying — better known as “skinning alive” — has a long and grotesque history. Records of the practice exist as far back as the Neo-Assyrian Empire (beginning in 911 B.C.), but it has cropped up in most civilizations at one time or another, including Medieval Europe (where it tended to be used as a punishment for traitors) and in the ritual human sacrifices made by the Aztecs in Mexico (the Aztecs, at least, are believed to have skinned the body after the sacrifice had been made). Various techniques have been utilized in the many different cultures in which flaying has been employed, but the basis remains the same: Slowly, excruciatingly slicing the skin from the body while keeping the victim alive for as long as possible (and when feasible, removing the skin intact). Rendering Of Flaying Wikimedia Commons Carvings from the Assyrian period show the process beginning with incisions to the thighs or buttocks, while the European method — pictured...

Couple Who Tortured 12 Children in Their California Home Are Sentenced to Life

Couple Who Tortured 12 Children in Their California Home Are Sentenced to Life Inside their Southern California home, David and Louise Turpin tortured 12 of their 13 children for nearly a decade. They imprisoned, shackled, and beat them routinely for months at a time in filthy conditions, chaining them to their beds and forbidding them from showering more than once a year. All but the toddler were severely malnourished, with the oldest, a 29-year-old, weighing only 82 pounds and easily mistaken for a child. For nine terrible years, the Turpins only allowed them outdoors for Halloween or on family vacations. Watch a video, see the photos and learn the disturbing true story of the mother who kept her 13 children captive for decades by clicking the link in our bio. The Turpin case concerns the maltreatment of children and dependent adults by their parents, David and Louise Turpin of Perris, California, U.S. The ages of the 13 victims ranged from 2 years old to 29. The Story Of Alyssa Bustamante, The 15-Year-Old Who Slaughtered Her Nine-Year-Old Neighbor Just For The Thrill Of It

The Story Of Alyssa Bustamante, The 15-Year-Old Who Slaughtered Her Nine-Year-Old Neighbor Just For The Thrill Of It Alyssa Bustamante seemed to be a rebellious yet normal teenager in rural St. Martins, Missouri — until she murdered her neighbor Elizabeth Olten in cold blood in 2009. Alyssa Bustamante seemed like an ordinary teenage girl. Friends said, “She was just always so sweet and everybody loved her… she was just amazing!” But inside her mind — and as her internet persona revealed — there was a much darker person lurking beneath the surface of this 15-year-old girl. It may have surprised her friends and family, but Alyssa Bustamante’s virtual alter-ego would foreshadow her most heinous act: the killing of nine-year-old Elizabeth Olten. Alyssa Bustamante And Her Troubled Childhood Between 2002 and 2009, Alyssa Bustamante was raised by her grandparents. Her mother, Michelle Bustamante, had a history of drug and alcohol abuse, which led to criminal charges and jail time. Her father,...

art_tumular_br The IML MUSEU

art_tumular_br The IML MUSEU With dozens of bizarre stories, and related to crimes in the state, the Museum of Forensic Sciences, located within the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Paraná, in Curitiba, is not yet known for much of the city's population. The hit gathers objects of crime scenes, mummified bodies, skulls on shelves, fetuses, and even equipment that were one day used for the construction of a spoken portrait. Among the site's curious stories is that of the serial killer known as Béaibinha Bé(the 3⁰ of the photo, from right to left), which killed dozens of victims with a sickle. The criminal, who had his body mummified and exposed in the museum, died ironically with scythe blows, during a fight in the region. Visits to the Museum of Forensic Sciences were restricted to students and professionals from some areas under scheduling but as of that year, opening to the public takes place without restriction on the last Monday of each month. Undiluted Relationship and inf...

At 12:16pm today I got a phone call from my dad asking could I pick my mum

At 12:16pm today I got a phone call from my dad asking could I pick my mum up hes stuck miles away in work but he's leaving now He asked me to take her to the hospital as her ecig battery had exploded in the middle of aldi and its set her clothes on fire and she's in a mess. I was straight there and found her in the middle of the shop sat on a chair crying and shaking in shock, covered in water which a passing customer must've threw over her to stop the flames. The acid was burning her skin and all her hand was a mess. Thankfully the battery was in her coat pocket not her jeans! We took her straight to a&e where she was treated and has just now been allowed out to go home. She has to attend the burns unit tomorrow. Life lesson - be careful with ecigs / ecig batteries in your pockets people!! 10 minutes prior to the explosion she was driving, this could have had a much worse outcome. She's very lucky! I've been on pins all day waiting for news. Was awful to see m...

The wild story of how a severed ear Incited an 18th century war between Britain and Spain

The wild story of how a severed ear Incited an 18th century war between Britain and Spain The War Of Jenkins’ Ear: How A Severed Ear Incited A Years-Long Conflict Between Britain And Spain Between 1739 and 1748, Britain and Spain fought a bloody war — and it all started because of a severed ear. Before the conflict broke out, Spanish coast guards had allegedly boarded a British ship, attacked its captain, Robert Jenkins, and one "took hold of [Jenkins'] left Ear, and with his Cutlass slit it down; and then another of the Spaniards took hold of it and tore it off." But the real reasons behind the so-called War of Jenkins' Ear were more complex, with both Britain and Spain seeking greater control over trade in the Americas. The war broke out at a time when the Spanish king was demanding back payments from British merchants for the "asiento de negros," or the monopoly right to sell enslaved people to Spanish colonies in the Americas. Meanwhile, the Bri...

Two children drown while playing at dam Hansen Dam, Los Angeles, California  Siblings Patricia and Raymond Thomas accidentally drown during a family picnic trip 1947, the Thomas family went out for a picnic near the Hansen dam in Los Angeles, but the children Patricia and Raymond disappeared. A huge search party set out to find them, and this photo captures Mrs Thomas reaction to seeing the drowned body of her daughter. Her son would be found dead soon after Patricia (6) and Raymond (9) were allowed by their father, John M. Thomas, to wade in the water after testing the depth. While the children played, the parents and other relatives prepared lunch and called to the children a short time later. When they didn't come, the adults assumed they were busy playing and continued without them. When they still hadn't been seen by the late afternoon, an alarm was raised. Some 200 people combed the area looking for the children through the night but no sign was found. The following day, ...
