Why Schooling In Nigeria Is Becoming A Scam

According to the dictionary " scam means a dishonest scheme; a fraud. It also means a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation.

During these recent years, Nigerian are saying " school is a scam " Their reasons was due to the fact that there is no white collar job available in the country. Their mindset towards schooling is that, they expect all graduate to be working in a big company and get rich after graduation. However, They fail to realise that, going to school is not only to get a white collar job but also for entrepreneurship.

In fact, To be educated does not mean you will be rich or working in a big company. Education is all about packaging, As we have seen in the society to day, The way a graduate do things is better than the way non educated person do. A graduate can be a tomatoes seller's but the way he/she would runs his business would be better than that of the non educated person. This is the advantage. Most non educated persons who are wealthy lata seek to obtain education. Our society today have advanced. full of technology and education is the only thing that can make one adapt.

Nigeria Educational system is becoming a scam. that is, schooling in Nigeria is becoming a scam. This is because of the mindset Nigerian have towards schooling. Their mentality is to finish school, get a job and become rich/wealth. Instead of going to school to gain knowledge and wisdom, they seek to get the certificate without knowledge and wisdom.

Our school teachers and tertiary institution lectures are corrupt. They fail to do the right things. instead of following the lay down policy that will bend the students to study their books, they collect money and accept sex in exchange of good grade. Nigeria have produce graduate who can't read and write.

Also, Government fail to equip the schools with the necessary equipment and facilitate that will enable students to learn very effectively.

After graduation, graduate fail to meet up with an expectation. They fail to do things graduate do. Our engineers can create. we are still in need of expertrate to do most of the things in the country. No individuals with the skills to do most of the available jobs in the country. Nigeria graduate are not productive. Why going to school in Nigeria? Schooling in Nigeria is a scam.
