Reasons For Biafra
Nigeria is regarded as the giant of Africa, because is the Most populated Country in Africa. The country is rich in crude oil, and she is among of the top richest oil producing country in the world.( The Top Oil Producing Countries In The World ) Nigeria should be among the richest countries in world. Don't you know most of these top oil producing countries are the richest countries?( Richest Countries In The World ) Why not Nigeria ?Do you want to know Why ? Between the time Nigeria discovery oil and when she newly gained independence, Nigeria Economy was the best in the whole wide world. The value of naira was very high. Nigeria Naira was the highest currency in the world. As at that time N1 is equivalent to $1. The Nigeria Economy was really booming and because of it booming, she was made to host Fastac ( festival of art and culture. As at that time, Nigeria was just Like all these top countries (United State,London,United Arab, etc.)The way citizens of others countries come to Nigeria as at that time was of high rate. It's Was that time Ghana was asked to go.( Ghana Must Go ).
The Reasons Why Nigeria Is Not Among The Top Richest Country In The World
The country is made up of many ethnics groups. They are not one. They are being joined together and made as one by Lord Lugard. Currently now, there are more than 250 ethnics groups in Nigeria and above 520 different tongues and because of these difference ethnics groups and multilingual, Corruption developed.
Since it's made up of many ethnics groups, A person who is made into power will only work for it own interests and the interest of his/her particular village/town/city. The big problems is that, because Nigeria practice democratic, power is only given to the majority. Most of the country leaders are from the majority. They only favored themselves and the place they came from. The most shocking thing is that, 95% of the country income is from the minority. They are rubbing from the minority to feed the majority. The minority are just like a slave to them.
The Political leaders of the Country "Nigeria" enrich themselves and favour their community. They steal from the public purse and used it to established big businesses in Abroad. Most Nigeria politicians own big business in Abroad. Also Our political leaders are there for their own interest. They failed to do the things that would profit The Country, Nigeria_ How can an oil producing country does not have a standardized refinery to refine crude oil? You should know that, the refinery we have in Nigeria does not refinery crude oil. After drilling The crude oil they take it to America to refine and pay America for refining it before selling it in the country or in the international markets.
When they were asked why they were doing that, they claimed that, Nigeria does not have the money to build the refinery that would refine the crude oil to get all the by_products. This is a big lie, Money is not the problem it just that, there is a person who is into the business of taking the country crude oil to America to refine. The person would loss it's business if such refinery is built so therefore he work against any agenda of building such refinery in the country. The money Nigeria give to America for refining their crude oil will be reserved if such refinery is built and in turn could be used to finance the country budget.
Another Reason why Nigeria failed to be among the top richest countries is that, our political leaders salary is too heavy. Their salary is just too much. Nigeria is among the top country that has the highest paid politicians ( Nigeria Minister Salary ). This is Abnormal. A country that borrow money to finance her budget every year has the highest paid politicians, how does it sound to you?
Another Reason is that, Our political leaders sponsored corruption scheme just for them to spoiled the reputation of the ruling party. Boko haram , militants etc. Are all there and Sponsoring them required huge amount of money.
THE BIG PROBLEM
Nigeria is a muti ethnic state.
The community of the minority were left behind in terms of development because they don't have people whom to represent them in the parliament. Since the main source of the country income is from the minority, I think their community should be the one to be develop most. This was how the corruption in the country started. The leaders are corrupt.
Till date, they couldn't give a real reasons why the federal capital territory was move from Calaba to Lagos and from Lagos to Abuja. Their reasons behind it was that, Abuja is in the centre of the country and it would be good if the country Capital is Abuja. Trash! Story for the gods. The truth behind it is that, they want to use it as a means to develop their land.
The minority voice out and they seek for their own country. They seek for Biafra but the seeking of Biafra only make the country to went on Civil war. This was the time of Njoku.
John Togo took the fight for the minority but he make a lot of mistakes and get killed instand. Nnadi Kanu took the fight again but things went wrong and get arrested. Is it Biafra the people need?.What is the way forward?
Ways Nigeria Can Move Forward
Nigeria had try all The possible means to stop fraud and corruption. They adapted the best scheme in order to put a stop to fruad and corruption still yet the thing is still their. It's seem to me their is no way Nigeria Can be free from fraud and corruption. The only way is BIafra let the rising Sun set
