Chinenye was about to boil water to take her bath and she attempted to turn on the gas, but it didn’t come on on the first attempt, she struck the match a second time and the resulting explosion knocked her off her feet. She narrated that she was unsure how she got up and ran through the fire in search of a means of egress. She made it out, but the fire took its toll.
