If you have a crush on her then you have to do things to keep her interested. Spend time with her. Show interest in her life. Most guys try to sell themselves. That is always a bad idea especially with girls who are popular. If a girl is responding to your crush at all she is already interested in you. What she is really interested in is what you think about her. Give her a chance to talk about herself. Ask her if she has any hobbies? What does she do for fun? Does she have a dream for the future?
Most guys never learn how to create a good relationship with a woman. there are many differences between the sexes. We think differently. We communicate differently but we also have much in common. All human beings need positive reinforcement. Men want their women to love and respect them. Guess what? women want the same thing. We just go about it differently. Women tend to overthink relationships. Men hardly think about their relationships at all. That is a problem. When a woman tells a man she loves him he just assumes that it will always be that way. Women are just the opposite. They can’t hear that word too often.
After that first declaration of love, when she says “I love you” she is also saying “tell me you love me too.” I don’t know why we men have so much trouble with that. My wife and I have been married for 46 years. It took me years to overcome my aversion to repeating those words but once I understood how much it meant to her It became easier and I could see how much it brought us closer. Now, I am the first to say it about half the time and I enjoy saying it.
Crushes are fragile things. Most don’t last long. It is a good thing. It helps us to avoid choosing the wrong person. When the real thing comes along I have given you the basic keys for making it last. Happy crushing! Tim
