There’s an adage that goes something like this: “If you get married when you’re too young, then you’re more likely to get a divorce.”
Never get married before you are 30”
The human male brain does not fully develop higher reasoning and decision making skills until age 29. Women develop this ability by age 21. That 10 years of mismatch is the potential danger zone for marriage. Women are better off to enjoy 8 year of casual sex without the demands of a relationship headed for marriage and let the men “grow up” and “catch up” to them. The lack of pressure that men feel from women to get married will also subside and you will both enjoy yourselves more and not end up married at 27 and divorced at 30. Here are some things you should consider about early marriage.
Positives (20s)
You are more energetic to have kids
You can have grandkids
when you are relatively young Your parents are more likely to be around to help you
Negatives ( 20s )
The lions share of 20 year olds think, on reflection, that having kids in their 30s made senseIf you are a woman, having kids in your 20s will affect your career more than once you are stablished
You have, as a generalization, less money in yours 20s
You have less life experience
It can destroy your financial health
Advantages of late marriage
Positives
You have more money usually.
You have more life experience
You can manage your career and kids
Negatives
You are older so have less energy and/or will have less energy when and if grandkids come alone.
To be honest with you, the positives of waiting until 30 are huge. Arguments about kids and money are the biggest causes of divorce.
That is less likely to be an issue if you wait for the right person and are more mature, but that can happen at any age.
And remember men should always be careful with marriage:
benefits to being married
And I’ve been playing house with my wife for a long time.
Sex. Oh wait, that’s obvious. Or at least it should be.
Financial. Two people living together can live cheaper than two living separately. Shared house, utilities, and meals. Of course that doesn’t count my wife’s shoes. But that’s another story.
Longevity. True fact, married people live longer in general than unmarried. Probably, because you’re not out doing all the stupid stuff you did when you were single.
Happiness. Overall, most married people have a higher level of satisfaction and happiness than singles. However, there certainly are times that’s, shall we say, overrated.
Success. Sure maybe not pure career success. When a person is single they can focus on nothing else if they want. However, is that real success in life? Probably not.
Wealth. My wife and I are a great team. We both have strengths that add to each other. Neither of us individually could have built the wealth we’ve built together.
Health. Married people generally are healthier. Probably because you’re not out partying. You sleep more, eat better and cut out all the crap.
Satisfaction. Building a marriage and family is the most satisfying venture in life. No business, purchase, degree or accomplishment can compare.
Love. No one can define it. Scientists can’t create it. Only poets can describe it. And you’ll never understand it. But when your life is immersed in it you’ll treasure it.
Sex. Maybe it isn’t obvious. In marriage it’s simply the best.
Marriage can be truly the most fulfilling and occasionally frustrating adventure of life.

And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
