Many can't differentiate between a coffin and a casket. Some say coffin is for women while casket is for men. Back in the days our forefathers used coffin to buried the poor while casket to buried the rich. Also, They used coffin to buried wayward people. According to our forefathers, coffin is for the people that have a low status in the community while casket is recommended for high influence person.

However the two serve as a competitive. Both can be used to buried male and female. Coffin is not regarded for the poor neither casket for the rich it just a matter of choice. In today world, many can't differentiate between a casket and coffin. People mistakes casket to be coffin and coffin to be casket. Some say you can either call it casket or coffin. Coffin is rare while casket is common.

Many people often confuse the two.
