Hormones That Affect Sexual Desire

Women tend to have a lot of ups and downs depending on their menstrual cycle, appititte and physical condition ( mostly all affected by hormones ). Many will agree that they are enslaved by them.

Is it only Women that goes through this? No! Men are just influenced by their hormones too. The main men hormones is testosterone. So how those this affect them?

Hormones determine when and whom the man feel attraction towards.

Males with higher amount of testosterone had higher sex drive and confidence levels. They were especially attracted towards female with soft, feminine features. (Willing L et al.., 2008)

The testosterone levels however fluctuate throughout the day.  morning is when testosterone levels peak and are cut nearly in half by the afternoon. Meaning that depending on the time of the day. The type of a woman a man is attracted to could hugely vary.

There are also season where male are More sexually driven. The season men feel sexually driven is "winter" the excretion of testosterone is more higher during winter season than summer. This means that when winter time comes around a higher desire for sexual intercourse arrives too.

Another interesting fact is that, When men are taking with an attractive woman, their testosterone levels skyrocket. This is where men tend to fear less. Fear and become more adventurous around their idea woman.

This is also why Men do silly things and go out of their way to do unnecessary risks act that they would not usually do. They can't help it. It's the testosterone snapping its whip.

Now you know that much of human behavior and mood is determined by hormones. No one can escape their grip.
