Female student pours hot water on a fellow student over toothpaste

One Miracle Ogochukwu Chiagoziem, a 300-level student of Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) has been arrested by the police for reportedly pouring hot water on her colleague, Wisdom Uchenna Chukwuemeka, a 400 level student of the Geology department.




According to reports, Miracle who lives in the same hostel as Wisdom had knocked on his door to ask for toothpaste, and when he didn't answer the door, she caused a scene at the door before leaving for her room.

Afterward, Wisdom was said to have confronted Miracle over her behavior which eventually led to a heated argument that became violent. She was said to have emptied a pot of hot water on Wisdom and another lady that had stepped in to intervene.

According to an eyewitness, the water was targeted at Wisdom's private part and his genitals were completely peeled off.

Eight US states will accept driver's licences and other state IDs stored on an iPhone, Apple has announced. The feature, first announced at a presentation in June, lets iPhone users store IDs in the Wallet app. Some had expressed privacy concerns about handing over smartphones to police or security officials. Apple now says users do not need to unlock or hand over their phones for the system to work for airport security. But it remains unclear if or how it might eventually work for other uses of ID, such as drivers stopped by police. Security checkpoints Arizona, and Georgia will introduce the system first, with Connecticut, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Utah also signed up. The "first locations" to use the system will be airport security checkpoints run by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Apple says.
