Dismembered bodies were discovered in her large bag. Marie allegedly murdered and dismembered her sister-in-law in a hotel room in the Biyem Assie neighborhood of Yaounde.

In addition, police records showed that Marie had been in contact with an unknown male who told her to murder her sister-in-law and deliver him her body parts in exchange for money.

Marie's sister-in-law could have vanished without a trace if the hotel personnel hadn't been so careful. The suspect should spend the rest of her life behind bars because she poses a serious threat to society. In addition, it appears that her mental health has to be evaluated.

Murder is always a terrible idea. Environmental issues are not due to an excessive human population. The moral ramifications of who lives and who dies is another important consideration. Basically, the decision to commit genocide cannot be made ethically by any human being or human community. A sentient being's life should not be taken unless it is being defended.

The human race is unique among animals in that we will intentionally kill our own kind for motives other than survival. Murder is committed for survival motives less frequently than for other reasons. Instances of mass murder or serial killing that make national news are extremely unusual.
